“The one week I spent in the Executive Program cleared up questions I had for years. Each professor I had was kind and more than willing to help in any way possible. The History of Mexico class with professor Gandy was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken. The excursions to Teotihuacan and Taxco were wonderful and the cooking class was amazing. I only wish I had taken advantage of staying with a Mexican family.”

“I was once again impressed by your teachers, facilities and city. The quality of your teaching staff is top notch. This has to be the best place in the world to study Spanish. I have studied all over the world in places such as España, Costa Rica, México y the U.S. I would definitely return to the Universidad Internacional to further expand my knowledge of the Spanish language. I believe that the language skills I have acquired here will give me a competitive edge over my competition at work. Cuernavaca is a great city full of warm people that are eager to help the foreign to their new environment. Thank you for a life changing experience.”

“ My Experience with Club amigo”
Club Amigo gave me the great opportunity to meet and become friends with cool Mexicans. Not only did this activity help me to know Cuernavaca better, but it also helped me to improve my Spanish and to make Mexican friends.
Speaking with my friends gave me the great pleasure to become familiar with the local use of Spanish, and helped me to practice my conversation skills.
I can recommend Club Amigo to every student at Uninter, and hope that this program will attract many more students in the future.

"EP suits my need perfectly. I chose 9 hours per day of individual lessons and after testing me and interviewing me, they constructed a daily plan directed toward my goals. Each day, I had three different instructors with unique styles, bur they share an enthusiasm for their work and the skills and experience to be effective. After five days, my confidence in speaking and listening has improved significantly and I am leaving with a self study plan that I hope will carry me until I return in a few months. The entire staff at University is service oriented and muy agradable. Cuernavaca is a lovely locale with friendly residents."

"The city of Eternal spring Cuernavaca, is the chosen place for my Spanish language study! Thanks you for the opportunity to tell you why I come back to this place. I enjoy the Californian weather of this beautiful, cultural city! The Cuernavacan residents have a high respect for students learning Spanish. From taxi drivers, waiters, police, sales people to people in the church and businesses- all persons, patiently, help us speak Spanish. Since 2001, I have returned here for learning immersion. I have many choices in Spanish language school. However, Uninter is a premier school. I first read about the school in the New York Times as one of the worlds the Spanish language schools. Year after year I see positive progression in keeping to the high standards of education. Amenities which continue to be the best are staff, a cultural and nurturing environment and the campus. The best feature is the experience of low-ratio students to staff. This year I enrolled in the Executive Program where I am the only student in my class. I receive wonderful individual attention by my professors. I can also choose to be in a group of 2-4 persons. The value of my money here is excellent. In the Executive program, they offer a fulltime person (the executive program Assistant) who provides for a tranquil place for study and business back in the U.S. It always amazes me of the retention of staff and students here. I see familiar faces and people who recognise me each year. It is a very warm and supportive welcome. If I have any situation needing attention the school is extremely interested in a quick resolution. Each person is given individual attention to their schedule which is flexible to be adjusted to ones own learning abilities and desires. Uninter takes care of their students and provides for a safe environment. Mexican families chosen bye the school provide a rich cultural experience. Of course, I believe my “family” Peniche Gomez is the best! They represent the school extremely well! My family works very hard to please us, when really it is them I have to thank for a wonderful time and desire to return. Also more importantly, the school provides excitement in learning and strong motivates me for higher learning. It’s that marvellous and positive attitude from staff that makes me enjoy coming back every year. Sincerely "

“Edgar Martinez: --Gramática--- He is, what we call “ top shelf “, the learning pace was adjusted perfectly to my needs, explanations written and oral were very clear, Sr. Edgar receives an outstanding recommendation from me. Fabiola Erreguin, --Conversation class-- was outstanding, the class was fun and very effective in advancing my listening and speaking skills. Fabiola´s diction was clear and concise; her corrections to mine were firm and consistent. We covered a variety of topics about our respective countries and cultures. As a result I gained insight into Mexico while advancing my knowledge of Spanish. Fabiola is a 1st. class person!
Sr. Raul Moreno: In week 3, the class matched my level much better than in week no. 2, Sr. Raul´s methods challenged us to use the various tenses in a very effective manner. The group was fun and Sr. Raul was very effective. Edith was extremely well prepared and guided me through numerous articles that advanced my Spanish skills. Her manner of speaking is slightly different than the other instructors, not a bad thing since I need to stretch my ears at times to understand. It was a good reflection of the real world. She was always enthusiastic and always tolerant of a tired student at the end of his day. Very professional.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ricardo Palomares and I am very pleased with the level of service and dedication given to may 10 year old son. UNINTER has surpassed all my expectations.
At first, my child was hesitant in attending school in different country and in a different language. After only the first day, he really enjoyed himself there.
He made friends with other children, not only from the States, but also from other parts of the world. He really likes the different hands on activities and games that the teachers have the children participate in.
According to my son, it is all fun and games, but I have notice his vocabulary that was very limited has expanded. After just one week he is actually reading and writing in Spanish.
I highly recommend UNINTER to any parent that would like his or her child to learn Spanish.

I had a very good experience with my amiga. She was very willing to meet with me. We met at her office a couple of times after my last class. On Saturday evening we met downtown and decided to go for coffee and a pastry. She was very good about giving me on course correction with grammer and pronunciation. It would have been nice to have had an amiga/o for two weeks but the one week was very enjoyable and productive. It is good having someone match students with amigos who have similar interests. Thank you very much for inquiring about my experience. The Club Amigo is a very good resource for students and if I return to Uninter I hope to participate with Club Amigo again.

He hecho muchas cosas con mi amiga, Maly.

I have been bringing groups to Mexico for over 30 years. The reports of
kidnappings in Mexico city are not exaggerated but they are confined almost
exclusively to wealthy business people, in Cuernavaca I do not know of
a single incident involving North Americans.
I think bringing hundreds of Americans and Canadians to Mexico for so
many years without a single incident speaks for itself.

segura.

Graciela Lucero-Hammer, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Spanish, Salem College.
I joined Uninter at Cuernavaca as it was recommended to be the best place
to learn Spanish.
I stayed at a family’s bungalow which was close enough to the campus
to walk every morning to UNINTER. Most people are given a lift by their
Mexican host parents – due to the student’s laziness or worries
about security?! My daily walk to the campus was an experience I never
want to miss!
Mexican people are great hosts, good conversation partners and interacting
to exchange opinions about lots of topics. – but be aware: you may
fall in love with a beautiful Mexican, and you don’t want to go
back home again…. This is in my opinion the greatest of all dangers!

My name is Cecelia Kluding-Rodriquez. I am 12 years old and I lice in
Colorado. I have been coming to this school for the past 4 summers. The
first I came with my mother and at least with one of my sisters, this
summer I came alone. Cuernavaca is one of the most beautiful cities in
the world, the eternal spring. The city is very safe and nothing has ever
happened to me. Cuernavaca is not a huge city but in my opinion it is
the perfect size.
Universidad Internacional is where I learned every single word of my Spanish.
The university has a program for kids, high school, or college, but if
you are not in college there are still many programs for you.
I really recommend anyone interested in studying Spanish to come to Universidad
Internacional.
Cuernavaca and this school are my second home, and I think that they always

My experience in the city of Cuernavaca has been very good. I walk everywhere
I go and have had no problems, night or day. The people here seem to be
friendly and outside of the urban sprawl, it is a nice city with may historical
sites and beautiful natural scenery. At Universidad Internacional, there
are guards posted at the entrance, but inside there is nothing but peaceful
surrounding. The landscaping is fantastic, with tropical theme fountains
and several open grassy areas.
Taking everything into consideration, I have to say that Cuernavaca is
one of the best foreign cities I have ever visited.
August 2005

Cuernavaca is a very comfortable and safe city. The people in Cuernavaca
are very kind and helpful. My host family has made every effort to help
me feel at home and introduce me to the life of a typical Mexican family.
The teachers at Universidad Internacional are very professional and have
a genuine interest in helping students learn Spanish.
I would recommend studying at Universidad Internacional to anybody who
would like to experience the diverse cultures of Mexico in a comfortable
and welcoming environment.
