Getting around Cuernavaca is easier than most people think!  There are numerous radio taxi companies located throughout the city which can usually send a cab to pick you up within 5 minutes.  Also, on the main avenues of the city, taxis are plentiful and inexpensive.

The standard fare is usually between 20 and 50 pesos (2 to 5 USD).  There is also a public bus system, but we recommend asking for advice from someone who knows this system well before using it.
