•  How long do the programs last?

The program can begin any Monday throughout the year and can last as many weeks as you want.

•  Can I earn credits?
The question of receiving college credit for Spanish study abroad depends more on your college or university than on our school. Your first step should be to check with your language department or study abroad office to see if there is an agreement in place. This is the best option.

•  How many hours of study are provided?
You will attend classes from 8 am until 2 pm at the Intensive Spanish Programs with the option to stay until 4 pm if you decide to take any of our optional classes.
The Executive Program options 1, 2 and 3 last from 8 am until 5:30 pm.

•  When is orientation?
Orientation takes place on the Saturday before you begin classes. If you are unable to attend the orientation, another orientation can be given at 8 am on Monday.

•  How do I know my Spanish level?
You are going to take an oral and written placement exam which will be administered at the school during orientation. The results of these exams will help us determine the suitable Spanish level for you.

•  Who will teach me?
Classes are taught by certified native Spanish speaking teachers.

•  Who is eligible?
Any person seeking to drastically enhance their Spanish and learn more about Mexican culture.

•  What kind of payment options are available?
Payment is due upon arrival and may be made by way of the following::
•  Master card or Visa
•  Travelers checks
•  Cash
In some cases, you can pay by way of an Authorization of Charges form or wire transfer. To pay using on of these methods, contact us.

•  What can I do after classes?
We offer an assortment of optional classes, courses, cultural events, sports and recreational activities. For more information check our Optional Activities page located on the main menu.

•  Why living with a Mexican family?
Because you get a complete immersion experience and you enhance your Spanish skills and understanding of Mexican culture.

•  If I don't get along with my family, can I change families?
Yes you can do that. Please feel free to visit us in the Housing Office so that our staff may assist you in making a smooth & immediate transition to your new host family.

•  Can somebody pick me up at the airport?
Yes, we offer a private Pick up service with an extra charge.

•  What kind of clothes should I pack?
Cuernavaca is known internationally as the "City of Eternal Spring" boasting year round temperatures of 75 to 80 degrees F, so bring appropriate clothes for this climate and try to check the temperature before coming.

•  How can I exchange my American dollars?
You can exchange your US$ at our exchange cashier, at the local banks, or at the airport.
