Add to the success and enjoyment of your courses by participating in Excursions planned by the School. All of our excursions are varied and full of excitement. Students also have free time to enjoy the many attractions that The Center for Linguistic & Multicultural Studies and Cuernavaca its surroundings have to offer.

Xochicalco and Hacienda de Cortes
The pyramids at Xochicalco, located 42 kilometers south of Cuernavaca, are one of the most important archeological zones in Morelos dating back to the 9th and 10th centuries A,D . The Hacienda, within the city limits of Cuernavaca , was established by the conquistador, Hernan Cortes, in the 1520s.

Cacahuamilpa Caverns
These caverns are among some of the largest caves in the world. They extend two kilometers into the heart of the mountain and present a variety of interesting geological formations.

Rio las Estacas
Las Estacas is a river rising from a natural spring in the midst of a tropical jungle with abundant flowers. This recreational site was used to film many scenes from the "Tarzan" films.

Tepoztlan
Tepoztlan is situated at the foot of a mountain and is a typical Mexican pueblo. Students will visit the birthplace of Quetzalcoatl (The feathered serpent) and principal God of the Aztec and other pre-Hispanic culture as well as a native folk market.

Ballet Folklorico
This amazing display of dance is a mosaic of Mexican folklore and traditions. Typical dances from across Mexico are performed in the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) in Mexico City.
